Near Grodno, an unsuccessful attempt to take a photo at a historical site resulted in a Russian tourist being hospitalized.

A 62-year-old man came to Belarus with his wife, but decided to visit one of the forts on the way to the Augustów Canal by himself, reports the Grodno District Department of Internal Affairs.
While taking photos, the man lost his balance, fell from a height onto concrete blocks, and hit his head on concrete. He lost consciousness for some time from the impact.
Upon regaining consciousness, he was able to make his way to the road, where he stopped a car and asked the driver to call for help.
The man was diagnosed with a closed craniocerebral injury, brain concussion, and multiple body injuries.
