Unemployed Minsk Residents to Receive Subsidies for Starting Their Own Business
Unemployed residents of Minsk can receive a subsidy to start their own business. Petro Shutko, Chairman of the Committee on Labor, Employment and Social Protection of the Minsk City Executive Committee, announced this on the "Minsk Speaks and Shows" program on "Radio-Minsk", according to "Minsk-News", report "Minsk-News".

The maximum subsidy amount is 5,400 rubles. Only citizens registered with the employment service as unemployed can receive it. The funds are provided based on an agreement and are not subject to repayment if its conditions are met.
The subsidy can be used for the purchase of tools, equipment, raw materials and supplies, payment for services, and other expenses related to organizing one's own business.
Petro Shutko noted that those wishing to receive a subsidy must also complete training courses and submit a business plan. More detailed information can be obtained from the Department of Population Employment at: Minsk, Berastyanskaya Street, 20.
