The spot price this morning reached a level above 4860 dollars per ounce.

Key growth factors were Donald Trump's claims on Greenland.

In recent weeks, the price of gold has been rapidly increasing; just yesterday it reached the 4700 dollar mark, and last week — 4600 dollars.

The rapid increase in the price of precious metals in recent weeks was caused by pressure on the US Federal Reserve System and the escalation of the situation in the Middle East.

The main driver of the price increase was the statement by the head of the US Federal Reserve System, Jerome Powell, about receiving subpoenas from the Department of Justice.
