Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't hold back tears after Portugal's World Cup exit.

Yesterday, Portugal lost 0-1 to Spain in the Round of 16 and is leaving the World Cup.

The 41-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't contain his emotions after the game.

Earlier, Cris said that this would be his last World Cup: "Yes, this will be my last World Cup. I need to enjoy it."

After the game, Cristiano warmly greeted Lamine Yamal, who turns 19 on Monday and is already a European champion.

Yesterday, after the Round of 16, he said: "I don't make hasty decisions and I don't want to shift attention from what the team did in this World Cup to any personal decisions of mine."

For Ronaldo, this World Cup was the sixth in his career. During this time, the forward played 27 matches in World Championships, scored 11 goals, and provided two assists, but he never managed to win the trophy. However, he does have the title of European champion (2016).
