A 39-year-old woman drowned in a sewage manhole on Sovetskaya Street in the agro-town of Bogina, Braslav district, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports.
"From the circumstances of the incident, it was established that the deceased left for a walk before bed on February 10 around 11:00 PM and did not return home. Relatives, concerned by her prolonged absence, went searching and found an open sewage manhole near the house, inside which they found the woman without signs of life," the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
An investigation is underway.
