Issues of assistance to Belarusian political prisoners, released and deported to the territory of Poland, were discussed during a meeting between Pavel Latushka, Deputy Head of the United Transitional Cabinet and Head of NAU, and Marek Masalski, Vice-President of Białystok, reports the United Transitional Cabinet.
Pavel Latushka thanked the Białystok city leadership for the support provided in the form of these two apartments, the request for which was submitted, among others, on behalf of Pavel Latushka as Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's deputy.
During the meeting, issues of possibly providing temporary accommodation for new groups of political prisoners were discussed, with the aim of optimizing accommodation costs, should their release happen in the near future and Lukashenka resort to the extreme measure of deporting Belarusian political prisoners to Poland.
