"It seems to me this is a criminal offense." Pinchuk outraged by the condition of a new road in the city
Residents of Pinsk complained about the condition of the road near the shopping center. Potholes and cracks appeared just a year after repairs, writes BGmedia.
A resident of the city recorded a video in which he emotionally spoke about the condition of the new road near the shopping center. According to him, the pavement deteriorated within just one year to such a state that "it's simply impossible to drive on it."
"I, of course, profusely apologize, but how did the road near the shopping center, well-known and loved by everyone in Pinsk, turn into such a state in just one year that it's simply impossible to drive on it? How was it supposed to be built and from what? And why isn't anyone rushing now to save it, to repair it? It seems to me this is a criminal offense, isn't it? What do you think? I don't know."
According to the man, the road in question was recently considered new. Now, however, it has potholes, cracks, and unevenness.
Drivers particularly point to the right turn as problematic: there, as written in the comments, "there's a specific pothole, and then for 50 meters, it's a bone-shaker."
Dozens of comments quickly appeared under the video.
Many claim that the problem is not local.
"Yes, it's like that all over Pinsk."
"In Pinsk, roads are only in name."
"The asphalt disappeared with the snow."
"Agreed, someone should be jailed for such quality. Why is there no oversight?"
"It's an obstacle course with unclear markings."
Some share personal experiences. One driver writes that "yesterday I discovered that I'd ruined two wheels, they just became bent, and I hadn't driven anywhere beyond the city."
Another adds: "I drove there and was shocked myself. In a year, that's it, the road is ruined."
Some commentators believe the issue is a violation of construction technology.
People ironize: "They decided to save on concrete, but something went wrong," "Technology, the main thing is that the work was done and reported."
Others blame winter and reagents. According to one user, concrete "is killed by the salt with which the road is sprinkled."
There was no shortage of sarcasm: "In Pinsk, roads are only built in terrible weather conditions, when it's raining." "At least all the trees in that area were properly cut down."
City residents increasingly say that the condition of roads in Pinsk is a chronic issue.
"Whomever I ask about Pinsk, everyone says: what kind of roads do you have there?" - writes one of the commentators.
