The Embassy of Belarus in Tehran recommended citizens in Iran to leave the country on their own amid ongoing military actions.
The embassy urged Belarusians to remain calm, exercise caution, and avoid crowded places.
Diplomats also advise not to approach military and state facilities, not to photograph or video them, and if necessary, to take shelter in bunkers or on the lower levels of underground parking lots.
Due to closed airspace, departure from the country is currently impossible. In this regard, citizens of Belarus are strongly recommended to use available land routes and independently leave Iran for Armenia or Azerbaijan.
The diplomatic mission noted that the most convenient route passes through the "Norduz — Agarak" checkpoint on the border with Armenia. For departure via Azerbaijan, it is necessary to obtain individual permission in advance.
