Railwaymen from Gomel congratulated women on March 8 and blew up TikTok
Employees of the Belarusian Railway unexpectedly became social media stars on the eve of March 8. Men from the Gomel branch decided to give a gift in a different format instead of traditional bouquets: they took guitars, drums, an accordion, and recorded a video with a musical greeting for their female colleagues.

The video quickly spread on TikTok and other social networks and has already gained over 800 thousand views.
In the footage, men play musical instruments and sing a humorous congratulatory song:
“Let the city know without a doubt —
the best women are in our department.”
The railwaymen took the humorous song "8 Marta gde?" by the Russian band Patrick Cash & Friends as their basis. They rewrote the lyrics to fit their work and team, adding local details and greetings for colleagues. The result was almost a corporate ballad – about work shifts, the team, and the women who work alongside them every day.

"They made a gift for all women"
The video was published on TikTok, and in a short time, it garnered hundreds of thousands of views. Dozens of messages appeared under the video from female railway workers from various cities of Belarus, thanking the performers for the mood and congratulations. Comments note that this greeting turned out to be unexpectedly warm and much more memorable than traditional flowers.
Some users point out that this song surpassed the original and even advise the railwaymen not to stop at one video and to record new songs. Others joke that after this performance, the Belarusian Railway got its own boy band.
“Guys, you made a gift for all women of Belarus. Thank you!” wrote one of the users.
The video was only part of the congratulation. The same musical number was performed live by the railwaymen at the Lokomotiv stadium in Gomel, where a festive event for employees took place.
