Belarusian woman invites 'Univer' star, who supports the war, to her wedding. All of Threads got involved
Stanislav Yarushin, star of the TV series 'Univer', is often in Minsk as he is one of the mentors on the TV show 'Factor.by'. Recently, he visited Belarus again — since then, Threads hasn't quieted down.

Yarushin became famous for his role in the series 'Univer', which first aired in 2011. Later, in 2016, Stanislav ventured into singing — his first album was released, followed by two more. Yarushin also hosts a hockey TV show on Russian 'Match TV'.
Yarushin does not hide his stance on the war, nor his talents. He criticized Russians who left the country after the start of the invasion of Ukraine and also asked for sleeping bags to be sent to mobilized Russians.
Currently, Yarushin is one of the mentors on 'Factor.by'. He often comes to Minsk for filming. And recently, he was invited to an important event, which, judging by Yarushin's post on Threads, he himself didn't even notice:
«Guys, what wedding? What's going on? Why should I be at some wedding?»
In the comments, Yarushin was explained that he should look at his previous post. There, the Russian actor had announced he was in Minsk, and in the comments, a girl invited him to her wedding.
That comment garnered over 30 thousand likes, and the girl added a similar comment under another post. Threads users rushed to persuade Yarushin to attend the wedding after all — there were hundreds of such comments:
«Stas, all of Belarus is waiting for you at the wedding.»
«No time to explain. Just show up, please. Drop in right now, and that's it. It's a must, Stas.»
«You've been invited. According to our country's customs, you can't refuse. Even the president comes if he's invited.»
The girl who orchestrated this flashmob is named Lizaveta, and apparently, she had long planned to invite someone famous to her wedding. In February, Lizaveta commented on a post that advised sending wedding invitations to every billionaire whose address could be found — suggesting there's a chance their assistants might send a gift.
In that comment, Lizaveta asked for billionaire addresses to take advantage of that advice. Later, the girl recounted that her wedding planner suggested she send invitations to singer Prokhor Shalyapin and actor Dmitry Nagiyev.
Lizaveta lives in Minsk and earns a living by doing hair extensions. The girl writes a lot about animal rights protection and even asks wedding guests to donate animal food instead of flowers, so they can later be taken to shelters. The girl also has her own bulldog.
Lizaveta's wedding will take place on March 7th, but Yarushin is unlikely to come — he's no longer in Minsk. Stanislav writes in comments to posts that if he had been warned in advance, he might have come, but he might send a video greeting instead.
