The leadership of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff reported that after achieving air superiority, strikes will be carried out deeper into Iranian territory. A significant reduction in Iranian missile launches has also been recorded. American servicemen claim to have sufficient ammunition to continue the operation.
To reinforce the grouping, the US is deploying additional aircraft to the region, including F-35, F-15E, and F-22 fighters. According to available information, about 250 American combat aircraft, including those on aircraft carriers, may already be in the region.
The military operation by the US and Israel against Iran began on February 28. Its stated goals are to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and to neutralize Iranian-backed armed groups. In response, Iran is carrying out missile and drone strikes on Israeli territory and American bases in the countries of the region.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that the active phase of the campaign should not exceed four weeks.
