The capital's Kastrychnitski district awaits a large-scale infrastructure update: plans include the construction of a strategic road between districts, the opening of polyclinics with swimming pools, and the planting of thousands of roses.
Healthcare
In January, two city polyclinics — the 41st adult polyclinic and the 13th children's polyclinic — began operation on Lietenanta Kizhavatava Street. The medical facility for adults is equipped with modern equipment. There is a swimming pool for rehabilitation after strokes and severe injuries. In total, the polyclinic has 13 departments, therapeutic and diagnostic and auxiliary rooms, a pharmacy, and a 25-bed day care unit.

As for the 13th children's polyclinic, it previously operated on Lietenanta Kizhavatava Street, 60d, in the Kastrychnitski district, and has now moved into a new building. It includes 12 departments, as well as a centralized medical rehabilitation room for children who have suffered from burn disease and burn injuries, and the "Gals" center for a friendly attitude towards teenagers.
Roads
In March, construction will begin on an access road to the Kaliadzichy industrial hub. It will help reduce the load on the Minsk Ring Road (MKAD). The new highway will be a continuation of Babushkina Street, running along the railway tracks, around the agro-town of Hatava. The road will be two-lane, and its length will be 5.5 km.

There are also plans to connect the Kastrychnitski and Maskoŭski districts with a road, which will make travel more comfortable for Minsk residents. Currently, motorists can get from one district to another either via Zhukava Avenue or the ring road. In Kastrychnitski, the road will start near the "Kurasoŭshchyna" market and pass over the railway tracks.
Housing Construction
The Kastrychnitski district is a leader in housing construction in the city. In the first quarter, a 10-story rental building with 77 apartments will be put into operation in Sakal. This year, they also plan to start construction of a new multi-story building. Some of the apartments in it will be allocated to teachers (a modern school is being built in Sakal), which will help retain staff in the residential area.

In addition, in 2026, construction will begin on Lietenanta Kizhavatava Street for a dormitory with 1200 rooms for college students not only from Kastrychnitski but also from other districts of the city. In "Minsk-Svet," they plan to complete the construction of housing (12 buildings). In the future, only business apartments will be built here. Furthermore, a kindergarten will be laid out in the residential complex, to be put into operation in 2027.
On Sierava Street, residents have been relocated, and low-rise buildings have been demolished. "Minskbud" is completing the construction of the first building with 125 apartments. Eight more buildings are planned to be created nearby. Part of the housing will be rental. Also, in 2026, 129 ownerless sheds, garages, and other dilapidated structures will be demolished in the district.

Urban Improvement
The concept for a recreation area has been defined, which will be created in the courtyard territory of buildings No. 3 and 5 on Aeradromnaya Street. Comprehensive landscaping and improvements are planned here, and a Mi-2 helicopter will be installed in cooperation with the Central Council of DOSAAF.
In addition, work will continue to equip the recreation area on Brestskaya Street. The work is divided into three stages. In 2025, the first stage was completed — an eco-path was put into operation, and workout equipment for children was installed. This year, the second stage has begun, and the theme remains sports-related.
Floral Design
This year, the planting of annual plants is planned at last year's level — a total of about 62 thousand for the season. However, the number of perennial plants will be increased by one and a half times — to 6.2 thousand. New flower beds will also appear.

The district is increasing the pace of rose planting. For instance, an additional 5 thousand bushes are planned for the autumn period. Besides flowers, they plan to plant almost 14 thousand deciduous and 1.1 thousand coniferous bushes.
