Minsvyazi tells where internet sped up in Belarus and where you'll have to wait
4G communication has been improved in three regions of Belarus.

The Ministry of Communications and Informatization announced a significant expansion of the LTE network in early 2026. The main focus is on the Vitebsk, Mogilev, and Gomel regions, where data transfer speeds in rural areas have almost doubled, writes "Minskaya Pravda".
Almost a thousand stations received an upgrade
At the end of February, the radio frequency channel in the 800 MHz band was expanded by 10 MHz on 356 base stations in the Vitebsk region. This doubled the total volume of the radio frequency spectrum.
LTE throughput increased by 56.8%, and the average data transfer speed increased by approximately 1.8 times — to 21 Mbps.
Residents of the Mogilev and Gomel regions can expect the same internet speed.
New capabilities will be felt by residents of large cities — Mogilev, Vitebsk, Gomel, Bobruisk, Zhlobin, Svetlogorsk — and small settlements, including Turov, Dobrush, Khotimsk, Buda-Koshelevo, Begoml, Narovlya, Osveya, Surazh, Dovska, Dunilovichi and others.
New plans to accelerate communication
By the end of 2026 — beginning of 2027, throughput will be increased for all base stations in the Minsk, Brest, and Grodno regions.
