The capital's transport depots have decided, if not to completely eliminate, then to maximally minimize the possibility of electric shock injuries during passenger transportation. For this purpose, special equipment will be purchased, notes Blizko.by.

It is planned to purchase 24 devices within a few months. They will be distributed among eight bus, trolleybus, and transport depots.
The announcement also states the total cost of the purchase — 84,960 rubles. The approximate price of one device should not exceed 3,540 rubles.
The last day for submitting documents for the tender is March 18, 2026.
In January, a trolleybus shocked a girl. According to the victim (her name is Diana), she was boarding trolleybus No. 44, grabbed the handrail, felt a strong pain, and lost consciousness.
The girl regained consciousness inside the cabin. People said she was screaming loudly, and some man literally pulled her away from the door. Already at home, Diana realized that her leg was numb, and sensation had not returned, so she had to call an ambulance.
Doctors diagnosed heart problems, burns, an ankle joint injury, and stress. As a result, the victim was hospitalized.
Also, in those same days, 18-year-old Matvei was shocked.
"I had just stepped onto the metal step when I immediately felt pain in my leg and fell into a puddle between the curb and the trolleybus. Since my leg remained on that step, my whole body started to shake. I did not lose consciousness. What was happening felt like strong convulsions throughout my body. It was painful.
Diana was pulled away because she was inside the trolleybus itself, but I was stuck in that hole, and no one could pull me away. Perhaps people thought I was having an epileptic seizure. When the driver realized what had happened, he switched off the trolleybus," Matvei recounted.
Doctors determined that the boy had "exposure to current without electrical injury." Matvei returned home the same day.
