Among consumed products, milk, meat, eggs, vegetables, and fruits lead, with potatoes only coming after.

The main part of expenses (65.3%) was for consumer needs. In the structure of these expenses, food (38.6%), non-food products (31.6%), and services (27.7%) predominated, Minsk-news writes.
About 21.3% of their income Minsk residents left in deposits; 6.8% went to expenses for construction and real estate purchases. Taxes, contributions, and other payments accounted for 2.7%, maintaining a private subsidiary farm for 0.2%, and other non-consumer expenses for 3.7%.
Specialists also calculated how many products one resident of the capital consumed per year (excluding food in cafes and restaurants).
Milk and dairy products lead — 308 kg per year. In second place are meat and meat products — 86 kg. Another frequently consumed product was eggs (about 255 pieces).
A Minsk resident consumed 86 kg of vegetables per year, and 79 kg of fruits and berries. Meanwhile, potato consumption amounted to only 43 kg per person per year.
