Vilnius Airport operations halted again due to Belarusian weather balloons
Vilnius Airport was forced to urgently close its airspace on the evening of March 14 due to another wave of aerial contraband from Belarus.
Navigation systems recorded marks characteristic of weather balloons, which the Lukashenka regime uses to smuggle illegal goods.
Due to this threat, flights were suspended from 21:46, causing schedule disruptions, although after 22:00 the airport gradually began to return to normal operations, writes Delfi.
