A two-month experiment to speed up customs clearance will be conducted at the border
Starting March 30, an experiment aimed at accelerating customs procedures and improving interaction between businesses and customs authorities will begin at the "Kozlovichi", "Berestovitsa" (both on the border with Poland) and "Grigorovshchina" (on the border with Latvia) border crossing points.

The essence of the experiment is that participants in foreign economic activity are offered to submit documents electronically — these can be transport documents, invoices, and other papers that accompany the cargo and are attached to the electronic transit declaration.
This functionality is implemented through a nationwide automated information system within the framework of a special electronic service for transferring documents to customs authorities.
To make interaction more convenient and efficient, businesses are recommended to immediately send a complete package of scanned documents — including specifications, packing lists, and their translations. Files must be of high quality and legible, in PDF or TIFF formats with text recognition (OCR).
The experiment will last until May 31, 2026.
