According to Russian authorities, a total of eight strikes were recorded, but there was reportedly no serious damage to infrastructure, nor any fatalities or injuries. Emergency services are working on site.
Previously, Ukrainian drones had already attacked other chemical enterprises in Russia — in Tolyatti, Tver region, Perm Krai, and Smolensk region. In some cases, this led to fires and even human casualties.
Against this backdrop, Russia experienced a shortage of fertilizers and a price increase of approximately 30%. Authorities imposed restrictions on the export of certain types of products to ensure the domestic market during the sowing campaign.
