Former top manager of ProStore and IT company sentenced to three years in penal colony under political article
Ilya Dzindzikau worked in managerial positions in well-known companies. He was recently convicted under a political criminal article.

Ilya Dzindzikau is 35 years old. He is from the agro-town of Yushavichy, Nesvizh district.
In 2008, Ilya went to study in Minsk. In 2013, he graduated from the Institute of Journalism of BSU with a degree in "audiovisual media", and later additionally improved his qualifications at the British Higher School of Design.
While still a student, in 2012, Ilya began working as an internet marketer and copywriter in the companies "Albion Group", PublicGroup and ARTOX. Immediately after university, in 2013, he registered as an individual entrepreneur and created his own project fmb.by — "the first marketing boutique in Belarus". In parallel, he worked as a content director at the "Assistant" service and a brand manager at Esiga Group. From 2014 to 2016, he held the position of leading specialist in the marketing department at MTBank.
Until early 2020, Dzindzikau was the deputy head of the loyalty programs department at "Eurotorg", and then for a year he headed the marketing department of ProStore hypermarkets. In 2021, Ilya managed a project at "Avtostrong-M", was the marketing director at "Avtopromservice", where he launched the Nissan brand in the Belarusian market, and then became a leading marketing specialist at "Reshenie" bank.
His last known place of work from August 2022 to February 2024 was the IT company Softvoya, where he managed the Customer Success department. His task was to retain clients, increase their brand loyalty, and reduce the likelihood of them canceling the company's services.
His career was interrupted due to political persecution. Last year, the man was detained and placed in a pre-trial detention center.
Recently, the Minsk City Court sentenced him under parts 1 and 2 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code of Belarus (facilitating extremist activity).
Dzindzikau was sentenced to 3 years in a penal colony.
