Before holidays, fraudsters rush to "congratulate" people with tricky postcards
On the eve of Easter, fraudsters have started mass mailing so-called "Easter postcards". Outwardly, they look normal and even pleasant: beautiful images, warm wishes, and seemingly a personal signature from an acquaintance. However, in reality, they are very dangerous .

The scheme works simply: a person receives a congratulatory message and sees a link. Since this happens before a holiday and the message looks trustworthy, many don't think twice and click on the link.
Various scenarios are possible next:
- redirect to a fake website where they try to extract personal data;
- a request to enter passwords, card numbers, or other confidential information;
- automatic download of malicious programs to the device.
The main danger is that such attacks exploit the "holiday effect": during holiday periods (Easter, New Year, March 8, and others), people become less vigilant and more trusting. Fraudsters are well aware of this and specifically tie their schemes to the holiday calendar. Moreover, such mailings are very popular in Belarus.
The main safety rule in this case is simple: do not click on links in suspicious or unexpected greetings, even if they appear to be from an acquaintance.
