In Austria, a firefighter received an emergency call during a visit to the hairdresser. His new look went viral on social media
The hairdresser had only been holding the clippers for two minutes when the call came in.

In Laa an der Thaya, Austria, 28-year-old firefighter Lukas selflessly interrupted his visit to the hairdresser due to an emergency call.
“The hairdresser had only been holding the clippers for two minutes when the call started,” Lukas told Bild.
“At 10:59 AM, the alarm went off. It always goes off at full volume. So that the hairdresser wouldn't get scared and cut me, I muted my phone. But then, unexpectedly, my pager went off. Right in the middle of the salon, in the middle of the haircut. I asked the hairdresser if he could stop. He replied: 'Yes, of course'”
With a half-finished haircut, Lukas headed to the fire station. “I already thought my hair was sticking out everywhere,” Lukas said. “When I ran into the fire station, everyone started laughing.”
His new "look" cheered up not only his colleagues. The photo quickly spread across social media, with thousands of people laughing at the mishap.
“I didn't think this post would become so popular,” Lukas confessed. Lukas walked around with an unfinished haircut for about an hour.
Then it turned out to be a false alarm: “There was nothing there. Nothing was burning.” Immediately after the call, the hairdresser finished Lukas's haircut.
