Volunteer Radzivon Batulin confirmed the death of 23-year-old Belarusian volunteer Tsikhan Kliukach on his channel. "The remains of 'Frants' were successfully retrieved," he wrote.

The fate of Tsikhan Kliukach had been unclear in recent days, with reports both that he was killed and that he went missing.
But Belarusian volunteer Radzivon Batulin confirmed the bad news.
"The remains of 'Frants' were successfully retrieved. A farewell ceremony will take place after all necessary procedures," he wrote.
It is unknown when and under what circumstances Kliukach was killed.
Tsikhan Kliukach is a former political prisoner. He was born and raised in Brest. He became a political prisoner at 18, trying to save the girl he fell in love with from imprisonment.
At that time, Tsikhan's girlfriend, 18-year-old Safiya Malashevich, spray-painted the "Rubiezh" system – shields of special fencing equipment. Tsikhan tried to take responsibility for it in court, although the video showed that it was the girl who was painting. However, in the end, both he and she received a prison sentence.
The young man was released on March 7, 2022, and after some time left Belarus.
At that time, Russia had just invaded Ukraine, and Kliukach, very young, considered it his duty to go to the front as a volunteer. During his service, he was associated with both the Kastuś Kalinoŭski Regiment and the "Pahonia" Regiment, which Vadzim Prakopieu tried to create in Ukraine in 2022.
Due to problems in his relations with fellow servicemen and commanders, Tsikhan left the army and later returned.
