A problem with rusty water in a Stolbtsy high-rise building has not been solved for three years
Residents of the house on Mira Street, 3, in Stolbtsy, built in 2012, say that previously the tap water was clean and potable. But about three years ago, when a new microdistrict began to be built nearby, the situation changed: rusty water with sand started coming out of the taps, writes "Minskaya Prauda".

The chairperson of the housing cooperative, along with one of the residents, during a public reception with the chairman of the Minsk Regional Executive Committee, Aleksey Kushnarenko, stated that despite numerous complaints and attempts to raise the issue, the problem remains unchanged.
According to residents, they have to regularly change filters, and household appliances also suffer from this situation — for example, washing machines rust internally, and laundry is poorly cleaned. At the same time, the water quality is unstable: today it can be dirty, and tomorrow — clean.
The authorities note that analysis results indeed show an excess of iron content in the water in this area, which does not meet ideal standards. Previously, in preparation for the regional festival in the city, some networks were already updated, but some sections remained old. A project to replace another section of the water pipeline is currently being prepared.
Officials state that the system was flushed and new water samples were taken, however, short-term quality deteriorations are still possible.
The regional leadership emphasizes that the problem must be finally resolved and, if necessary, a complete replacement of the water supply networks should be carried out.
