Why does Nasha Niva write about Pratasevich so often? Rovda explained
In a new analytical episode of TOK, Nasha Niva director Nasta Rovda answered a question addressed to the media, which Mikalai Statkevich published.

A few days ago, Mikalai Statkevich published a question from a former party member in his Telegram channel. Part of the question concerned "a certain democratic resource," "focused on national culture." Specifically, about how it "regularly covers the private life of a scoundrel who bought his freedom at the expense of his colleagues' freedom, even discusses the color of his cohabitant's underwear."
It is clear that this remark concerns Nasha Niva, which writes about Raman Pratasevich.
Nasta Rovda noted that personally for her, Mikalai Statkevich is a deeply respected person, so it is worth listening to his words and explaining the position.
She commented on why Nasha Niva writes about Pratasevich:
“Because people are very interested in following the fate of a traitor. The tormented, difficult fate of a traitor who turned out to be unwanted neither here nor there. And in this sense, it's probably a guilty pleasure.
It's a very instructive story, an example that no one wants to repeat. No one wants to go down the path that Raman Pratasevich went down. (...) We do this to show people the history of such traitors. What it leads to and how painful it can be in the long run.”
