A 21-year-old resident of Minsk, together with his girlfriend, built a business on men. The scheme was convincing — at least 60 people fell into their trap, who instead of meeting a girl, ended up with empty wallets.

The young people created fake profiles on dating sites, using other people's photos from social networks and artificial intelligence. They offered intimate services. To convince men of the reality of the profiles, the culprits generated AI-created video messages (circle messages) in which fictional girls addressed the interlocutors.
If a client agreed to a meeting, they were required to transfer 500 rubles as a "security deposit".
After receiving the first payment, the fraudsters did not stop and made new demands: for example, payment of another 500 rubles for a health certificate or other fabricated services. When the money stopped coming in, users were simply blocked.
The couple transferred the received funds abroad to bank cards registered in a third party's name.
So far, 60 victims are known, but the investigation is ongoing.
