This week, an agreement on the establishment of the China-Belarus Institute of Outstanding Engineers was signed at the Sinomach "Torch" park site. It was founded by Nanjing University and Belarusian National Technical University with the participation of Sinomach Digital and Qixia High-tech Industrial Development Zone of Nanjing City.
The institute will operate on the basis of "Great Stone" and train highly qualified engineering and technical specialists with a master's degree. As clarified in the industrial park, the training will be in fields such as artificial intelligence and computer engineering.
Students in the joint institute will be taught under a "1+1" model: the first year at BNTU in Belarus, the second at Nanjing University in China.
The Chinese corporation Sinomach cooperates not only with "Great Stone" but also with the High-Tech Park. Recently, its representatives visited the HTP twice in six months.
