On the night of April 19, Chernihiv came under a massive attack by Russian drones. A 16-year-old teenager died as a result of the strike. Four people were also reported injured: three women (86, 54, and 50 years old) and a 75-year-old man.

It is reported that the strikes targeted various objects in the city – an educational institution, private residential buildings in different areas, as well as an inactive medical facility. The attacks caused fires, destruction, and damage.

According to Dmytro Bryzhynsky, head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, 7 private houses (3 of which were destroyed by fire), an administrative building, an educational institution, and cars were damaged during the attack.
Police, explosives experts, and other emergency services are working at the scenes.
