At a Hrodna cemetery on Radunitsa, one of the graves had to be extinguished
A resident of Hrodna recounted an incident at a cemetery that occurred during Radunitsa. On this day, people traditionally visit the graves of relatives, bring flowers and light lamps, but this can be dangerous, writes Newgrodno.by.

During her visit to the cemetery, the woman noticed that a fire had started on one of the graves — artificial flowers on the monument were burning. She had to extinguish the fire with improvised means. As a result, the monument was badly damaged: it was covered in soot and harmed.

It is assumed that the cause of the fire was a lamp, and strong wind helped the fire spread quickly.

The woman also noted that many people walked or drove by, but no one reacted to the smoke and flames.
