Another 30 million hryvnias (about $680,000) in bail was posted for Andriy Yermak, the former head of the President's Office.
According to «Schemes,» citing sources in law enforcement, this contribution was made by Serhiy Rebrov. Most likely, this is the well-known long-time footballer of Kyiv «Dynamo,» former head coach of the national football team.
He did not respond to calls and messages from journalists.
Earlier, Rebrov stated that Andriy Yermak was the initiator of his return to the position of head coach of the Ukrainian national team.
«I am very grateful to Andriy, very grateful to the people who really helped me to return to Ukraine,» Serhiy Rebrov said.
«I have known Andriy for a very long time. Before he became an assistant to the president. He is a very decent person. We often talk. He was the initiator of my return to Ukraine to work with the national team, but this was before Russia's full-scale aggression,» the coach recounted.
Thus, the total amount of bail posted for Yermak now stands at about 44.5 million hryvnias (about one million dollars) out of the appointed 140 million (1.3 million dollars). The former head of the President's Office will then be released on bail pending trial. Yesterday, Yermak told the court that he did not have such an amount, so he was taken into custody.
