Latvian national team refused to play against Belarus. It was punished
UEFA officially awarded the Latvian national team a technical defeat for refusing to play against Belarusians in the qualifiers for the European Under-19 Football Championship.

The match between the national teams of Belarus and Latvia among footballers under 19 was supposed to take place on May 15 in San Marino as part of qualifying group B3. However, the Latvian team did not take the field due to political reasons.
As a result, UEFA awarded the Latvian national team a technical defeat with a score of 0:3.
