Selected poems by Yury Humenyuk published in the "Brukavanka" series
In Białystok, the publishing initiative "Polatskaje Liada" released a collection of selected poetry by the Belarusian poet Yury Humenyuk, titled "And a Stone Cross Will Grow Like a Tree," in the book series "Brukavanka," reports Radio Racyja.

The edition includes the best poems from the books "Scent of the Body," "The Face of Tutankhamun," and "Ritual," which most fully represent the distinctive poetic aesthetics of one of the most controversial representatives of Belarusian literature of the late 20th — early 21st century.
The preface to the book, titled "We Will Flow From the Height of Grey Skyscrapers…," was written by the Belarusian poet Ales Arkush, who examines Humenyuk's work in the context of new Belarusian poetry and his literary generation.
This is already the poet's fourth book published after his untimely death in 2013.
