Resident of Voranava District Gave Her Car for Repair. Later Saw on TikTok That It Was Sold for Parts
The woman found her car at a scrapyard after seeing it on social media. She reported this to the police, writes the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Hrodna Regional Executive Committee.

As criminal investigation officers found out, in June, a 47-year-old woman handed over an old Audi to a 26-year-old local resident for him to prepare the car for a technical inspection.

However, the man did not perform the promised work and did not return the car within the agreed timeframe. Instead, he sold the car to an acquaintance for only 600 rubles to settle a debt. And the new owner resold it for parts.
Some time later, while scrolling through TikTok, the woman saw a video featuring her car. Strangers were offering the car for 1200 rubles.

As a result, law enforcement officers confiscated the car from the new owner. A criminal case has been initiated against the 26-year-old man under the article "Fraud." He faces up to three years in prison.
