Administrator of «Anoshak's Headquarters» owns a Belarusian company involved in supplying sanctioned semiconductors to warring Russia

Maryna Kosmach started in Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's headquarters and later became the head of a channel that has attacked Belarusian democratic forces for years. Her husband Aleh Maisejeu was arrested in Estonia for money laundering.

Recently, "Nasha Niva" reported on Aleh Maisejeu — Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's former confidant and her driver during the 2020 election campaign, who is currently in an Estonian prison on charges of money laundering.

In this story, the name of his wife Maryna Kosmach also emerged. The digital trail indicates her involvement with the Telegram channel "Anoshka's Headquarters," which has been discrediting Belarusian democratic structures for years.

It turned out that Kosmach still remains the owner of a Belarusian company involved in schemes to bypass sanctions and supply equipment for military purposes to Russia.

Was in the Headquarters, then found herself in a different circle

During the pre-election events of 2020, Maryna Kosmach was associated with Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's headquarters. After moving to Lithuania, she received refugee status. But over time, Maryna Kosmach and her husband found themselves among people who were no longer fighting Lukashenka's regime, but rather its opponents: Tsikhanouskaya's Office, solidarity funds, and independent media.

A digital footprint left by Maryna Kosmach indicates her connection to "Anoshka's Headquarters". Under a Telegram link published on behalf of the channel, Facebook showed her profile and an automatic tag: "Maryna shared this with you." This suggests that the link was forwarded to the channel from her private account.

"Anoshka's Headquarters" appeared at the end of 2020. The channel's authors leaked internal correspondence and financial documents of democratic structures, attacked Tsikhanouskaya's Office, BYSOL and BY_Help foundations, independent media, as well as those representatives of the democratic movement who were simultaneously targeted by state propaganda.

Some of the screenshots from the internal correspondence were true — they were leaked by a rat. Sviatlana Haluzava was hired as Andrei Stryzhak's personal assistant, giving her access to his private online conversations. And when she got offended by her employer, she took screenshots. That's how they ended up online.

One of the "Anoshkas," Illya Byahun, returned to Belarus and became a hero of propaganda stories, eventually going to the front to fight for Russia.

Byahun claimed in state media that the activities of "Anoshak's Headquarters" were coordinated and financed by Volha Karach, who herself aimed for the role of opposition leader.

Read the archival material from 2021: "It was necessary to remove parasites from Tsikhanouskaya's entourage." Byahun stated that Karach finances the channel with compromising information on Stryzhak and Viachorka

"People of Freedom"

On April 22, 2021, the public institution VšĮ "Laisvės žmonės", which translates to "People of Freedom", was registered in Lithuania. It was founded by three citizens of Belarus, and Maryna Kosmach became its director.

She headed the organization from its registration until February 2026, when her husband Aleh Maisejeu became the director. However, when he was arrested in Estonia in June 2026, Maryna Kosmach once again became the director of "People of Freedom."

From 2021-2023, the organization received about 120 thousand euros. As of 2024, the financial activity of "People of Freedom" effectively ceased: reports show zero income and expenses.

The organization stated its goals as charitable and social assistance to victims of wars and other disasters, cultural activities, and support for people.

Interestingly, in the explanatory notes of "People of Freedom," instead of its own registration code 305740299, the code 305633703 appeared for several consecutive years. It belongs to another organization — the "Country for Life" foundation. Moreover, both organizations were registered at the same address: Kalvarijų street (Kalvarijų g.), 125 in Vilnius.

Owner of a company that supplied equipment to Russia

Meanwhile, Maryna Kosmach's business in Belarus continues to operate — she owns the enterprise "Tefida," which deals with spare parts for road-building machinery and warehouse services. The company is managed by Maryna Kosmach's brother, Aliaksandr Shybko.

In 2024, the international investigative center OCCRP and Buro Media found out that "Tefida"'s warehouse was used in a scheme of so-called fake transit to bypass sanctions for the benefit of Russia's military machine.

Equipment for the production of semiconductors and electronic components was registered to the Kazakh company "KBR-Technologies." But, according to investigators, it might not have reached Kazakhstan: the goods ended up in Belarus, and then — in Russia.

In 2022, six batches of equipment worth approximately $716,000 passed through "Tefida." From March to August 2023, according to investigators' customs data, the company sent equipment worth approximately another five million dollars to Russia. Part of the supplies were intended for the "OSTEC" group and related companies. "OSTEC" supplied equipment to the Russian Central Research Institute of Chemistry and Mechanics. The institute is connected with the production of Russian military equipment, including ammunition.

"Nasha Niva" contacted Maryna Kosmach for comment. She confirmed that she remains the owner of "Tefida" to this day, but assured that she does not participate in the management of the company and does not make decisions regarding its activities.

According to Kosmach, to withdraw from the founders, she needs to return to Belarus, which she cannot do. The company, as she says, is managed by her brother, but they hardly communicate now: they last spoke a few months ago.

Maryna Kosmach, according to her, learned about the supplies of equipment to Russia after the "Buro" investigation was published. She then contacted her brother and asked him to clarify the situation. He assured her that "Tefida" did not supply anything, but only provided temporary storage services for a Kazakh company's cargo at the warehouse.

Kosmach provided documents to the investigators, from which it follows that "Tefida" participated in the logistical chain — accepting cargo for storage, handling its customs clearance, and being responsible for forwarding it — but was not the seller or manufacturer of the equipment.

"I am the founder of the company, but I do not make any management or other decisions regarding its activities, and I don't even know if it is operating now," Maryna Kosmach told "Nasha Niva."
