A Belarusian was forcibly deported from Russia. And he climbed back in after 50 minutes

The court took into account Mikhail Demidovich's admission of guilt and sentenced him to one and a half years in a penal colony for repeat offenders.

The Sebezhsky District Court of Pskov Oblast sentenced Belarusian citizen Mikhail Demidovich to 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment for repeated illegal crossing of the Russian border after deportation.

Demidovich already had three convictions in Russia — for attempted robbery, theft, and illegal border crossing. After his last prison term, he was informed that his entry into Russia was prohibited for ten years.

At the end of 2023, the Belarusian was deported from Russia via a bridge over the Cherepetsitsa River in the Sebezhsky District of Pskov Oblast. This was at 17:40.

But when Demidovich found himself in Belarus, he immediately decided to return. He walked back to the border and at about 18:30 crossed it again near the Dolastsy crossing.

He was detained on the same day.

In court, Demidovich pleaded guilty and requested a special procedure for hearing the case — without judicial investigation. The prosecutor did not object. A psychiatric examination did not reveal any mental disorders that would preclude responsibility, although he is monitored by a psychiatrist with a diagnosis of 'mild intellectual disability'.

The court considered the admission of guilt and active cooperation with the investigation as mitigating circumstances, but also the recurrence of crimes as an aggravating one.

As a result, on January 25, 2024, Demidovich was sentenced to one and a half years in a strict-regime penal colony.

Цікава, што за выключэннем таго хлопца, якога ўвесь час цягне ў тундру, усе гэтыя выпадкі на этнічных беларускіх землях. Мо людзей да продкаў цягне.
