In the new academic year, five-day training camps will also be held for young men studying in colleges. This was announced by Minister of Education Andrei Ivanets, Minsk-News writes .
— This year, training camps were held in a new format — with round-the-clock stay. About 15% of the capital's tenth-graders took part in such camps. And we set a goal for the new academic year: all training camps for young men in 10th grades should be held at military units or pre-conscription training centers. And this is our joint work with the security bloc, which will ensure truly high-quality and interesting work with schoolchildren, — noted Andrei Ivanets.
The Minister of Education also stated that five-day training camps in the 2026/2027 academic year will also be held for young men studying in colleges. And starting from the next academic year, their duration will be increased to 10 days — by analogy with tenth-graders. They will also be organized at military units.
