Belavia launches codeshare with Russian Red Wings — flights of two companies can be bought with one ticket
Belavia has started selling tickets to three more Russian cities.
Belavia passengers can now purchase tickets from Minsk to Samara, Chelyabinsk, and Perm within a single booking.
Belavia and Red Wings have expanded their cooperation under a codeshare agreement, the Belarusian airline announced.
Codesharing allows one airline to sell tickets for flights actually operated by another. Therefore, tickets for direct flights between Minsk and Samara, Chelyabinsk, or Perm can be purchased from Belavia, but Red Wings will transport the passengers.
The list of routes with a layover in Yekaterinburg has also expanded. From Minsk, it will now be possible to fly to Almaty, Barnaul, Samara, Tomsk, Ufa, Surgut, and Orenburg this way.
The first segment — from Minsk to Yekaterinburg — is operated by Belavia, and the subsequent flight is by Red Wings. The entire route can be booked with one ticket.
Tickets are already on sale on the websites of both airlines, at their ticket offices, and through agents.
