Uladzimir Arloŭ has published the cult book "Kraina Belarus. An Illustrated History" in Poland, which was first written in 2003 and has seen several reissues, writes bellit.info.

The book, designed by artist Zmitser Herasimovich, tells the history of the Belarusian people from ancient times to 1919.
"Engaging and accessible to readers of all ages, this book introduces you to the world of our past. This is not a dry academic work: on its pages, you will meet prominent historical figures, learn about the life and customs, military victories, and cultural achievements of Belarusians in different eras," states the annotation. "The publication contains nearly two thousand illustrations, including unique chronicle miniatures, medieval engravings, and rare photographs. The history of our country is viewed as part of pan-European civilization," the annotation reads.
The book will be available for purchase at various Belarusian book events, and can be ordered right now via the website Gutenbergpublisher.eu.
