During negotiations in Kyiv with the participation of special representatives of the US President and national security advisors of the "Euro-three" countries, the discussion covered not only possible conditions for ending the war, but also issues of supporting Ukraine in the short term, European Pravda reports .

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said after the meeting that a total of three rounds of negotiations took place on September 6, and all of them were "very substantive."
The President of Ukraine joked that the presence of Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner in Kyiv "worked better than Patriot systems" and expressed a wish for them to come more often so that ordinary Ukrainians would have the opportunity "to live a little" without Russian shelling.
"Sometimes you can joke about 'Patriots', but nevertheless we understand that this is a very relevant issue, very important for us... If the war continues into winter – and for now it looks that way – we are very much counting on a 'winter package,' which I discussed in detail today with Steve, Jared, and our European partners," Zelenskyy said.
He noted that Kyiv is counting on air defense, energy support, and the possibility of using American liquefied natural gas.
"The territorial issue remains relevant... This does not mean that we talked about it for a very long time, but we had the opportunity and we discussed it. I remain of the opinion that such complex issues are resolved only at the leadership level," Zelenskyy said.
According to him, the discussion also included security guarantees, economic guarantees, recovery, and a "prosperity plan" for Ukraine.
"We understand what our army should be like, how strong it should be – and these are the main security guarantees for us. All this requires resources. And you understand this perfectly, we all understand this. Therefore, the guarantees must be strong, clear," the President of Ukraine noted.
Zelenskyy also said that several new ideas regarding the further negotiation process were put forward during the talks.
US President's special representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner arrived in Ukraine for a visit for the first time on September 6. Following the meeting, they made several statements. Prior to this, Trump's special envoys visited Moscow.
