Artist of the cult series "Liquidation" arrested in Russia on treason charges
He lived in Kyiv and came to Russia to renew his foreign passport.

52-year-old production designer of the series "Liquidation" Alexander Kondratov was accused of high treason, reports "Mediazona".
The case against Kondratov was opened in early August. His lawyer, Natalia Tikhanova, told reporters that the investigation considered "at least six publications" on the internet as high treason. The specific content of these publications was not specified.
Kondratov had lived in Kyiv since 2012 and came to Russia to renew his foreign passport, writes "Memorial". The artist was detained at Vnukovo Airport on May 5. Prior to the opening of the criminal case, he was subjected to "carousel arrests".
The detective series "Liquidation" was released in 2007. It tells the story of criminal investigation and the fight against crime in post-war Odesa in 1946. The series starred Vladimir Mashkov, Mikhail Porechenkov, Sergei Makovetsky, and Konstantin Lavronenko.
