“If I had to do it all over again, I would do the same thing.”

The US President stated that he does not regret starting the war against Iran, despite the possible impact of the conflict on the US midterm elections in November. Donald Trump said this in an interview for Fox News.
“I don’t believe in the word ‘regret.’ You can always reflect on yourself a little. If I had to do it all over again, I would do the same thing,” Trump said.
He also dismissed speculation that some of his supporters were upset and demoralized by the war. “I don’t think they are demoralized. I think they are very proud that I am not allowing Iran to have nuclear weapons,” the US President stated.
Furthermore, Trump reiterated his belief that the war could end immediately after the US congressional midterm elections.
“Everything will end immediately after the elections,” claims the head of the White House.
