"Good news in the coming weeks": Vance intrigued with statement regarding the war in Ukraine
"Oh, man. Look, the Russia-Ukraine relationship has been a source of constant frustration, I think, for the entire White House," the US Vice President said.

U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance expressed hope that there will be "good news" in the coming weeks regarding the end of the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine, writes RBC-Ukraine.
During the conversation, journalists asked what frustrates him most in his position as U.S. Vice President. In response, Vance said that he has not yet been able to reach a deal that would end the Russian Federation's war against Ukraine.
"Oh, man. Look, the Russian-Ukrainian relationship has been a source of constant frustration, I think, for the entire White House," the vice president said. He noted that the White House really thought, and U.S. President Donald Trump himself repeatedly said, that this would be the easiest war to resolve.
"And if you, you know, said that peace in the Middle East is easier to achieve than peace in Eastern Europe, I would say you're crazy," Vance added.
At the same time, the official remains optimistic and expects "good news" in the coming weeks. He emphasized that the situation is not yet at the finish line, but there is progress.
"I really think we've made a lot of progress, but we haven't reached the finish line yet. There is hope, and hopefully, in the next few weeks, there will be good news on this front," J.D. Vance concluded.
