“I spoke with your president on various issues. He helps, advises us on what to do with the war between Russia and Ukraine. These are good tips. Various issues like that,” the US representative said.

Regarding the advancement of the peace settlement process of the conflict in Ukraine and Belarus's role in it, John Koul noted the factor of the long-standing good relations that have developed between Alexander Lukashenka and Vladimir Putin.

“Your president has a long history of relations with President Putin, has the ability to give him advice. This is very useful in this situation. They are old friends and have the necessary level of relations to discuss such issues. Of course, President Putin can accept some advice and reject others. This is a way to help the process,” said John Koul.
