Vyachorka to Anzhalika Borys: The problem is with Lukashenka, who does not want to release Pachobut
Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya's chief advisor reacted to a post on Facebook by Anzhalika Borys, former head of the Union of Poles in Belarus, in which she linked the absence of Andrei Pachobut among the Belarusian political prisoners released on December 13 to the claim that he was allegedly "not on the list of the Belarusian opposition because he is a representative of the Polish minority."

Andrei Pachobut
Franak ViaÄorka stated:
"Andrei Pachobut was on every one of our lists, both general and professional. Both we, and our allies, and the USA, and primarily Poland and the Polish government - fought for Pachobut.
The problem is with Lukashenka, who does not want to release Pachobut."
Earlier, Maciej Wiewiór, spokesman for the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, reported that Andrei Pachobut was not released because he refused to write a request for release. Such a proposal, according to the diplomat, indeed existed, but Pachobut did not accept it. However, this, emphasized the MFA representative, does not mean an end to efforts for his release.
