How Belarusians will work and rest in 2026. Ministry of Labour published the schedule
Long weekends will be in January, April, May, and December.

The first long weekend is very soon — from January 1st to 4th. Next time, Belarusians will rest for four days in April — from the 18th to the 21st.
Transfers of working days in 2026
The working day of April 20 (Monday) is transferred to Saturday, April 25. The days off will be April 18 (Saturday), 19 (Sunday), 20 (Monday), and 21 (Tuesday) 2026 — 4 days.
At the same time, organizations, taking into account the specifics of production (work), are granted the right to transfer the working day (April 20) to another weekend, which falls on a Saturday, adds the Ministry of Labour.
Non-working days in 2026 traditionally are:
January 1 and 2 — New Year;
January 7 — Christmas (Orthodox Christmas);
March 8 — Women's Day;
April 21 — Radunitsa according to the calendar of the Orthodox denomination;
May 1 — Labour Day;
May 9 — Victory Day;
July 3 — Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus (Republic Day);
November 7 — October Revolution Day;
December 25 — Christmas (Catholic Christmas).
