Five people died in fires in one day

This is an anomalous day — a total of 518 people have died since the beginning of the year.

On December 26, 2025, five people died in fires across Belarus, reports the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The tragedies occurred in Grodno, and in Svislach, Novogrudok, Minsk, and Gorodok districts.

A total of 518 people have died in fires since the beginning of the year, which is an average of 1.58 victims per day.
