Zelenskyy confirmed the "Oreshnik" strike on Ukraine: "The attack happened exactly when a significant cold snap occurs"
The President of Ukraine commented on the "Oreshnik" strike on Ukraine last night.
"In total, there were 242 drones this night, only ballistic missiles and specifically against energy facilities and civilian infrastructure - 13, one medium-range ballistic missile 'Oreshnik', as well as 22 cruise missiles. The attack happened precisely when a significant cold snap occurs. Specifically against the normal life of ordinary people," he wrote.
As a result of the night strike on Kyiv, four people died.
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed the "Oreshnik" strike on Ukraine, stating that it was allegedly a response to the attack on Putin's residence in Valdai on December 29.
"The objectives of the strike have been achieved. Damaged are facilities for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles, which were used during the terrorist attack, as well as energy infrastructure that ensures the operation of Ukraine's military-industrial complex. Any terrorist actions by the criminal Ukrainian regime will continue to not go unanswered," the statement said.
Meanwhile, the Telegram channel "Pool №3," close to the Kremlin, reported the flight time of "Oreshnik" to European countries if the weapon were deployed in Brest.
