Over 60 people detained after Max Korzh's concert in Frankfurt am Main. From the stage, the singer called to stop the war in Ukraine
Almost 30,000 people gathered for the concert of Belarusian singer Max Korzh in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, writes DW. Many came from other regions of Germany, as well as from Poland, the Czech Republic, Belarus, Ukraine, and Moldova.

Most of the spectators were Ukrainians. Flags of Ukraine, as well as Georgia, Moldova, Lithuania, Latvia, Kazakhstan, and Kyrgyzstan, were raised above the crowd. Ticket prices started from 80 and went up to 450 euros for VIP seats.
Max Korzh does not make sharp political statements, but at his concerts, he condemns Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Such statements were also made in Frankfurt am Main.
"The songs are dedicated to those who died in this war... It must be stopped immediately. They ask, how? But it's impossible to stop a meteorite, a plague... The war can be stopped by those people who benefit from it," Korzh said from the stage. "Stop this war. And negotiate as much as you want. You like negotiations! You can keep everyone, you can leave the guys in the barracks. Let everyone wait! Negotiate for 10, 20, even 100 years. Stop killing people, stop the bombing!"

After the concert, police detained 63 Korzh fans in the stadium area. They were accused of igniting pyrotechnics, clashes among themselves and with law enforcement officers. Criminal investigations are underway.
