"Burn oil refineries." Keith Kellogg advised what Ukraine should do after Trump's warnings
Former US President Donald Trump's special representative for Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, advised Ukraine to continue attacking Russian oil refineries, despite calls from US President Donald Trump to stop such strikes. Kellogg expressed his position in an interview with Deutsche Welle on October 12 on the sidelines of a security conference in Warsaw.

Answering the question of how Volodymyr Zelenskyy should react to Trump's calls not to attack Russian oil refineries, Kellogg replied: "Burn oil refineries."
He also disagreed with the opinion that the development of events in the war could begin to turn in Russia's favor, including through an agreement between Moscow and Washington on the supply of Russian diesel fuel to the United States.
According to him, these are insignificant volumes of fuel. He believes that this agreement is largely due to internal reasons in the US and is intended to demonstrate that certain measures are being taken.
Trump's former special representative also rejected claims that the American president betrayed Ukraine. Kellogg stated that he does not understand such accusations and considers them erroneous.
As an argument, he pointed out that European countries continue to purchase Russian energy resources. According to the figures he provided, Russian oil accounts for about 3% of European purchases, and 15% of the liquefied natural gas imported by Europe still comes from Russia. Kellogg posed a rhetorical question as to whether this does not mean that Europe is also betraying Ukraine.
