Lukashenka demanded that the Minister of Defense identify fortified areas to be occupied within 24 hours
Today, the politician held a meeting where he discussed the results of the inspection of the combat and mobilization readiness of the 7th separate special police brigade of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

He stated that Belarus has fortified areas which the armed forces, if necessary, will occupy within 24 hours, his press service reports.
"I will not hide from my potential adversaries in a future conflict, God forbid, of course, but I constantly remind the Minister of Defense that today the country must have identified points where the Armed Forces will instantly, within 24 hours (and our logistics in Belarus allow this), move to and occupy these points. Fortified areas, as we called them. There are a certain number of them on the western border," said Alexander Lukashenka.
According to him, every military serviceman should know each point, especially those who will be called up from the reserve.
"I remember this from my direct military service in the army. We were taught then: if something suddenly happens, you must be in that trench with such and such a weapon. This is what we are doing today so that our servicemen know which direction to act in. They have been called up more than once, visited this fortified area, and know what weapons they will use to defend our country."
He noted that in the current difficult conditions and situation around Belarus, all state bodies of the power bloc are obliged to act professionally, confidently, and promptly.
"We must be ready for the most negative scenario for us. And these scenarios have been calculated and are known to us. But we cannot allow a new round of aggression. Today, no one needs this. There should be no actions on our part that would be interpreted as aggression," Lukashenka said.
