Popular pizza delivery service without warning charged money not only for pizza, but also for the call
The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade issued a directive to Domino's Pizza company due to paid phone calls practiced when ordering pizza.

The reason for the inspection was a complaint from one of the Belarusians, who reported that money was debited from his mobile account when ordering pizza using the short number 7717. During the inspection, MART confirmed a violation of consumer protection legislation.
It turned out that for some subscribers, the cost of calling this number differed from the tariffs stipulated by the agreement with the communication operator. A fee of 0.21 rubles per minute was charged for the call, but customers were not informed about this in advance.
It was precisely the lack of proper consumer information from Domino's Pizza LLC that became the reason for issuing the directive.
MART noted that the organization has already complied with the agency's requirements: now, when calling the short number 7717, customers are informed that the call is paid and its cost per minute of conversation is specified.
The ministry also noted that some subscribers of A1 operator need to take into account: they have to pay not only for the pizza itself, but also for the phone call to order it.
